That’s when I decided to bring in a removalist company, and let me tell you, they were lifesavers. They took care of the heavy lifting, literally, and made the whole experience so much smoother than I expected.

The company that helped me move into my new home is Edinburgh City Removals. They’ve been around since 2016 and are well-equipped to help with moves across Scotland, including cities like Glasgow and Perth.
One of the key reasons I chose them was because they offer more than just moving services. For instance, their professional cleaning service made sure my new home was spotless before any of my things were brought in. They also handle furniture assembly, which was useful when it came to my flatpack furniture.
On top of their services, I also like that they have a refund policy for any listed items they failed to move within the day. Plus, they offer a 10% discount for senior citizens and PWDs.
That said, they do mostly stick to Scotland, so they’re not the best fit for long-distance moves.

Their international removal services are especially impressive. They have the experience and connections to sort out all the tricky details, like shipping, customs, and even pet transfers.
On top of that, they’ve teamed up with IFX Payments to help with currency transfers, so you won’t lose out on exchange rates when you’re settling into life abroad.
What’s also impressive about them is that they have their own mobile app that you can download from both the App Store and Play Store. It has some nifty features like live tracking to keep your move organised.
However, it should be noted that a few people have mentioned that some of their items were damaged during their move.
